Hong Kong

Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Product design and development, ensuring the products meet with engineering required specifications, technical standards, and quality requirements.
  • Continuously improve the design and functionality of existing product by analyzing areas for enhancement and implementing necessary modifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to analyse and review new product pilot run and production.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers for any potential engineering improvement.
  • Apply technical knowledge to provide support on the materials for the manufacturing processes and tooling design to develop innovative products.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation, including 3D engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports for accurate and comprehensive documentation during the product design process.
  • Assist in company’s relevant regulations and standards documentation submissions, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other applicable guidelines.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related discipline such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering etc.
  • 1-3 years in engineering work-related discipline is preferable.
  • Proficiency in using 3D engineering software such as Creo, AutoCAD etc. to develop 3D models, 2D assembly and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and logical thinking, task-orientated and proactive team player.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical device technology, industry trends for applying best practices in product design.
  • Understanding of the medical device industry is preferred.

Product Manager

Responsibilities:
  1.  Global Product Strategy & Positioning
  • Own global messaging and positioning for all endoscopy products, including Andorate and Private Label portfolios.
  • Translate technical updates and product changes into clear, customer-friendly, and regulatory-compliant commercial value.
  • Develop structured Features–Advantage–Benefits (FAB) messaging, value propositions, and commercial explanations.

     2. Product Launch & Global Commercial Readiness

  • Support global product launch planning in coordination with Marketing Communication, Sales, and regional Product teams.
  • Develop global sales tools, launch briefs, training materials, and product messaging aligned with GA Health’s brand and compliance standards.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate communication of product updates, improvements, and changes to regional teams.
  • Provide product knowledge and deliver clear briefings to internal teams and regional partners.

      3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work closely with the CEO, Sales, R&D, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, Marketing Communication, and GA Health Ireland.
  • Act as the Headquarters commercial bridge, ensure other local offices receives clear and aligned messages to support market adaptation and execution.
  • Translate technical and regulatory inputs into clear, structured, and commercially appropriate communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; MBA or Marketing qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–8 years’ experience in product management, product marketing, or commercial product roles within medical devices or healthcare.
  • Experience with endoscopy products, GI devices, or medical consumables is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MDR, MDSAP, and the impact of regulatory requirements on product claims and communication.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content into clear and compliant commercial messaging.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-cultural, global environment (Hong Kong–China–Europe time zones).
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, including direct interaction with the CEO.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required for product alignment and business needs.
  • Highly qualified candidate will be considered as Senior Product Manager as appropriate.

HR & Admin Assistant (5-Month Contract – Maternity Cover)

Human Resources:

  • Support the full employee lifecycle by managing documentation for onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining up-to-date personnel records and organisation charts.
  • Maintain HR data integrity across spreadsheets and the internal system; assist in document administration, monthly reporting, presentations, and HR communications.
  • Facilitate the recruitment process by coordinating interview schedules, managing candidate correspondence, and maintaining accurate recruitment trackers.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions, liaising with participants, and maintaining employee training records and certification databases.
  • Assist in the organisation of staff welfare activities, team-building events, and HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide administrative support for business travel arrangements.

Office Administration:

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office by overseeing facilities maintenance, managing supplier inventory (stationery, pantry supplies), and coordinating with cleaning staff.
  • Handle general office correspondence, including managing mail and parcels.

Ad-hoc Support:

  • Provide support for ad-hoc assignments and projects as required.

 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent administrative experience. Prior internship or 1+ year of experience in an HR or office support role is preferred.
  • Experience with HR systems or project management tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and external parties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Product Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy & Market Insights
  • Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, clinical practices, and the competitive landscape within the fields of gastroenterology and endoscopy.
  • Identify market opportunities and define product requirements and value propositions.
  • Provide structured feedback from distributors, clinicians, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to guide future R&D and product improvements.
  1. Product Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee assigned product lines from concept to post-market support.
  • Manage product documentation, clinical claims, and technical information in collaboration with R&D and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Support MDR and MDSAP readiness by ensuring product data, IFUs, and labelling are market-appropriate and compliant.
  1. Product Launch & Commercialisation
  • Plan and execute product launches in coordination with Marketing Communication and distributors.
  • Develop sales tools, training materials, and product messaging aligned with GA Health’s global brand.
  • Support trade shows (ESGE, UEGW, DDW) and workshops, including product demonstrations and training sessions.
  1. Distributor Support & Training
  • Partner with distributors to provide product knowledge, clinical updates, and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct product and clinical training (virtual or in-person) to build distributor capability and confidence.
  • Monitor distributor performance and gather feedback to inform portfolio priorities.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the European voice within the product team, ensuring alignment between market needs and technical development.
  • Work closely with R&D and QA/RA teams in Asia to communicate customer requirements and product updates.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communication to translate technical content into compelling promotional materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or Marketing qualification a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in product management, product marketing, or clinical applications within medical devices (endoscopy, GI, or related preferred).
  • Proven experience launching and managing medical devices in Europe.
  • Strong understanding of MDR and clinical evidence requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-cultural, distributed environment (Asia–Europe time zones).
  • Willingness to travel for exhibitions, distributor meetings, and clinical training (approx. 20–30%).
