GA HEALTH LAUNCHES LUBRICANT-FREE DISPOSABLE VALVES FOR FUJIFILM® 760 SERIES
On 14 June 2019, GA Health, with the vision of Healthcare without Infection, held its 1st global sales meeting with distributors from 13 countries. The company released the world’s first lubricant-free disposable valves for Fujifilm® 760 Series endoscopes at this meeting. The product is both CE-approved and FDA 510-cleared.
“This is a significant step towards improving patient outcomes and reducing cross-contamination”, says Ken McCabe, GA Health Co-founder & President. “As a lubricant-free device, we’ve eliminated the need for silicon oil which, among other things, can cause endoscopic lens clouding and potential bacterial growth from any oil residue”.
The range includes two, three, four and five-piece sets containing combinations of air/water, suction, biopsy valves, the auxiliary connector plus air/water channel cleaning adapter, and the 24-hour air/water tubing set. The products are precisely engineered and manufactured to ensure safety and consistent and reliable performance.
“We can now offer a competitive solution to Fujifilm® end-users, and this reflects our ongoing commitment to customer support and engagement”, says GA Health CEO Cindy Ye.
